General Information for all positions: Louhelen Bahá’í School is a full-service conference center serving 18,000 people annually. Facilities include overnight accommodations for 120 people, functional meeting spaces for groups up to 200, and the highly regarded Twin Oaks Dining Room.

Louhelen Bahá’í School offers individuals, families, and groups the opportunities to explore these gems of potential and develop them in service to humanity. Louhelen’s programs are open to all.

Louhelen Bahá’í School is administered by the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of the United States. Louhelen’s conference center facilities offer a relaxed, peaceful and welcoming center for a diverse array of rental groups holding their own conferences, retreats, banquets, and meetings. Registrar

The Registrar/Office Assistant serves as the primary point of contact and communication for individuals interested in programs at Louhelen.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manages all aspects of initial registration process, including:
  • Assignment of rooms
  • Mailing (or emailing) confirmation packets
  • Receiving/processing registration fees, applying appropriate discounts and scholarships
  • Processing cancellations
  • Provides timely, high-quality, accurate and loving responses to individuals registering for school programs
  • Manages all aspects of guest registration upon arrival at session
  • Greets and welcomes guests upon arrival
  • Distributes information packets and name tags
  • Addresses all guest questions pertaining to room assignments and registrations.

VOLUNTEER SUPERVISION:

  • Responsible for supervision of volunteer office assistants and registration assistants.
